I am Alyza- a wife, mom, teacher, and photographer. What I love most about photography is how it reflects the creativity of the God of the universe- the God who paints sunsets every evening, delights in the laughter of a child, & designs each individual snowflake. The list of His creativity is quite literally endless. I love to take the relationships and people He has already made and translate them into still images that can be cherished for a lifetime.

I live in Fargo ND with my husband Drew! We "met" in daycare and got married in 2018. We have 3 wonderful children- Nora (5), Henry (3), and Quinn (1).

Some things I love are reading mystery novels, home making, baking/cooking, thrifting, interior design, and hosting friends and family. If my kids are napping I am probably doing a DIY project somewhere around our house!

When I was 12 my dad bought my mom a camera to take pictures of the woods surrounding our home in Park Rapids MN, and I was immediately obsessed. Taking pictures of my friends for fun slowly grew into taking pictures professionally!

Alyza took amazing pictures for us on our wedding and for our engagement! She is incredibly easy to work with and she is very kind. One thing that especially stood out to me was that during your wedding pictures, your photographer is with you and close to you for a lot of the day, and Alyza has a very gentle and fun way of leading people through getting the poses and pictures taken without being invasive or overbearing. Alyza did a wonderful job with both our engagement photos and our wedding pictures! She had a well organized timeline for photos which made it easy to communicate to everyone involved.
